Cambridge Community Rehabilitation &|Environmental Protection ( CCREP)

What we offer

CCREP Programs

With the help of our partners, Cambridge Community & Environmental Protection (CCREP) has identified the following core programmatic areas of focus.

Health,Education and Vocational Training program

Education program has been considered by CCREP as a basis to impart development and effect change among the vulnerable livelihoods/communities. we send volunteers to teach in our partner schools a variety of subjects.

Still under education program,CCREP has Sponsorship program for the orphans and vulnerable children. The hope of CCREP is that every child would have the opportunity to reach their full potential. As so many children have lost their parents to AIDS, they need someone willing to stand with them and encourage them to pursue a brighter future ahead.

Monthly sponsorship is a very tangible expression of love and support. Since we identify children in our communities who need support, your donation is a sure to have a direct and lasting impact.

A $38 monthly sponsorship provides school fees, medical care, meals and scholastic materials.

The need is overwhelming in our operating area, and a lot of children see themselves stuck where they're at. We encourage sponsors to build a strong relationship with their children by exchanging letters and pictures with one another.

CCREP is also advocating for Vocational Skills Training, as this is automatically including all youths in and out of schools or local communities, teenagers mothers, and widows .This equips the youths with the hope of earning a living at all cost. Because at least some handy skills will be obtained at early stages of growth and at the finger tips of the beneficiary.Under vocational training we offer skills like: Carpentry, Hand crafts, Tailoring, leather and shoe works, and many more to come.

Through the Health program, we work in rural areas to address the most pressing healthcare concerns in the communities: malaria, HIV/AIDS, household sanitation and hygiene practices. We partner with health centres, schools, volunteers and hospitals.

In our health program, we:

  • Provide preventative education and workshops on healthcare issue such as malaria, hygiene and sanitation, eye care, and family planning.
  • Bring access to preventative healthcare such as HIV/AIDS testing and family planning options.
  • Distribute malaria nets to the disadvantaged families.
  • Distribute condoms to the local health centres.

Environmental protection program

Environmental detraction is among the current problems facing Uganda due to the increasing demand for timbers, firewood, charcoal for fuel, construction, deforestation as a need to give space for agriculture and many more. Currently activities we have under this program are:

1.Improving the deteriorating environmental practices in targeted communities, and schools through planting trees and fruits.

2.Cleaning trading centres,markets,and hospital

Evangelism program

We mainly carryout activities such as door to door evangelism, spiritual healing, church planting, counseling and guidance, reviving hope, reformation, good morals and an upright religious community.

Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) program.

Under this program, hygiene and sanitation interventions supplement innovative and comprehensive water chain interventions to ensure safe water from the source and into the home. Are you aware that:

  • Poor sanitation and hygiene is a cross-cutting health concern in all rural Ugandan villages.
  • Poor sanitation leads to diarrheal diseases, which are responsible for 17% of all deaths of children under five years (World Health Organization).
  • Poor personal and household hygiene can lead to trachoma, increased rate of infections, and a number of other diseases.
  • A home with standing water can become a breeding ground for mosquitoes and increase malaria rates not just for that family, but for the neighbors as well.
  • We educate our communities about the importance of household hygiene, personal hygiene, and sanitation through outreaches. And also provide sanitation facilities in disadvantaged communities and schools.
